Death of a Supermafia
I published this article via Mailchimp on 25th March 2020 and was deplatformed only five days later. Here I give a reading of the article. You can download a PDF of the article from https://www.dropbox.com/s/v1a2mmu4jjt2icn/Death%20of%20a%20Supermafia.pdf?dl=0 Dealing with the consequences of censorship is a lot of work. Truth is freedom – Living with “unreality collapse”
My life has involved a number of challenging situations where I had to pick between alternate and mutually exclusive realities being presented to me. Doing so has involved the pain of relinquishing a false reality. In the process of doing so, I have come to learn how to cope with “unreality collapse”, and indeed to thrive upon it. The "feeling of knowing" is not the same as "knowing"
There is a big difference between reasoning through logic versus emotions. Understanding how the "feeling of knowing" comes about can help us to tell the difference. The example comes from "On being certain: Believing You Are Right Even When You're Not" by Robert E. Burton MD. You can learn more about his book here: http://www.rburton.com/_i_on_being_certain_i___believing_you_are_right_even_when_you_re_not_63166.htm
Best of Martin Geddes's photographs
A selection of my better photographs from over the years for you to enjoy. Several people have asked me if they can buy them as prints, and I'm working on finding a way to put them on sale. All pictures taken with either a smartphone (iPhone SE or Galaxy S5) or Canon Powershot S5 bought in 2008. You don't need fancy equipment to take nice shots. But I wouldn't say no if some fancy equipment turned up! If you appreciate my work, you can support my creative endeavours at patreon.com/martingeddes.
WWG1WGA: The greatest communications event in history
"Where We Go One We Go All" was inscribed on the bell on JFK's boat. It is a rallying cry for unity, and now headlines an extraordinary set of events. I wrote this article in early July, and it caught the attention of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) patriots and supporters. It also explains the context and purpose of the QAnon operation. The original article is here: https://medium.com/@martingeddes/wwg1wga-the-greatest-communications-event-in-history-698ba926df64. At over 100,000 views it is easily the most read article I have produced in 15 years, so it clearly has hit the zeitgeist!
